Telephone befriending with Age UK South Gloucestershire
Have you ever considered telephone befriending? Age UK is looking for volunteers aged 18 and over who will be matched with a local older person, for regular phone chats. With Covid-19 restrictions in place, the service is needed more than ever, as some older people may be feeling isolated or lonely. Telephone befriending isn’t a big commitment, and you don’t need any special qualifications. You just need to be flexible, reliable and up for a good chat. To find out more, email firstname.lastname@example.org
